Smart Oakland Project Officially Launches

Smart Oakland is an open-source response to the US Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Smart City Challenge Grant led by the City of Oakland. Mayor Libby Schaaf invites you to join us!

This collaborative development effort is hosted on open platforms such as Google Docs, Blogger and Facebook, so anyone with access to the Internet is invited to participate by contributing, commenting, sharing, liking or simply following along.

Our task is to develop a detailed “Vision Narrative,” addressing thirteen specific topics in thirty pages or less. As such, our primary objective is to create a shared and compelling vision of a Smart(er) Oakland.

Ready to help? Then let's get started!
